Sadie Briones is a Junior at The University of Texas at El Paso, majoring in Multimedia Journalism with a minor in Graphic Design. Briones is a Photographer for both Minero Magazine and The Prospector. After Graduation, Briones wants to work her way into fashion journalism in a photography specialty.

The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) is the home to this year’s Conference USA Coach of the Year Ben Wallis. After qualifying for the NCAA tournement for the first time in 2024, the Miners will be returning for a consecutive season.

As their sound continues to grow and mold to an influential force in the El Paso scene, Acrolein has become more than just a band. Their Image isn't curated, it's grown from the four years they have been making music, performing, and being friends with one another.

The Minerpalooza winning band Acrolein, comprised of Luis Lopez, Aveytiea, Leo Chacon, Carlos Hernandez, and Ryan Balibrera, were a hit to the students at UTEP's Minerpalooza with their melodic riffs and outgoing personalities.
