Evelyn Palma, Editor-in-Chief

Evelyn Palma is a senior multimedia journalism major at UTEP minoring in management. She is the editor-in-chief of The Prospector for the summer and fall semesters. She is also the president of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) El Paso Chapter and secretary of UTEP Student AdFed. With a passion for media, she hopes to pursue a career in print journalism or in broadcast journalism.

“Mixed,” a colorful story by Arree Chung was read during the “Same and Different Story Time” event at Clardy Fox Library. The children’s book uses color to teach messages of inclusion, kindness, and respect across racial and cultural lines.
