The UTEP softball team ran away with two victories against Florida International University (FIU) in a series of intense matches. Both games were filled with many highlights for both teams, but the Miners’ performance proved exceptional.

UTEP softball sweethearts win against Manhattan, 9-6

A total of 222 fans were in attendance for the Valentine’s Day matchup between the UTEP Miners (4-2) and the Manhattan Jaspers (0-2). UTEP’s defense had Manhattan ground out the final two outs which resulted in a 9-6 victory over the Jaspers.
