Mia Colmenero is a junior majoring in multimedia journalism. She is the layout editor for The Prospector. After graduating she wants to pursue a higher education in getting her master’s in communications and work as an investigative journalist.

Praise Djoma was named Conference USA Women’s Field Athlete of the Week in back-to-back weeks during the 2026 indoor season and later won gold in the long jump at the conference indoor championship with a personal-best 6.25 meters.

After connecting with the victims past relatives, it’s now Hernandez’s mission to spread awareness of deportations, not just in the Hispanic community but around the world through his book and now his film.
