While mapping rock formations at the Indio Mountains Research Station, University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) structural geologist and associate professor of earth, environmental and resource sciences Jason Ricketts, Ph.D., found dinosaur fossils. The discovery reveals a new piece of the region’s prehistoric past.
