Game 3 of the El Paso Chihuahuas’ six-game series against the Las Vegas Aviators included summer heat and El Paso dust in the last innings. A total of 4,962 fans were in attendance, for the third matchup that took place on July 10. The series wrapped up on July 13 when the Chihuahuas took Game 6, splitting the series with the Aviators.

Fresh after scoring, Nathan Mondou went back to the dugout calm and collected. On July 13, the final day of the series, Mondou won MiLB Player of the Week.

Las Vegas batter Logan Davidson watched the pitch closely during his at-bat. Davidson had two hits out of five at-bats with no runs scored in the July 10 match.

Aviators pitcher David Leal kept the ball low while on the mound, forcing five groundouts. He led the Aviators’ pitching effort in Game 3 against the Chihuahuas after facing 11 batters.

Official DJ for The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Athletics, Jason Craig was officially introduced as the Chihuahuas’ new on field emcee on March 27. During game days Craig keeps the energy high and engages the crowd through games and giveaways.
