Over the past decade the United States of America has seemingly taken a turn acknowledging “Anti-Christian ideology.” Notable events indicating this include the legalization of gay marriage in 2015, and Joe Bidens recognition of Transgender Day of Visibility in March 2024.
President Donald Trump signed the “Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias” executive order on Feb. 6 to ensure Christian’s “fundamental right to religious liberty” and put a halt to hate-crimes and wrongful convictions against Christians following their ideals.
President Trump and his administration notably have a focus on transgender representation in workplaces and the calendar year as “The Biden Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sought to force Christians to affirm radical transgender ideology against their faith,” the order states.
Former President, Joe Biden’s public recognition of Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday in March 2024 was particularly deemed unacceptable and anti-Christian. According to PBS, the day should have only been to celebrate the “resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
The executive order seeks to put an end to “anti-Christian government” as it has, according to the president, been the cause of hostility and vandalism towards practicing Christians and churches all around the country.
According to the Associated Press, “Critics see the task force initiative as unnecessary and pandering to Trump’s base. But some Christian supporters said it is overdue, claiming the Biden administration had discriminated against them through actions and inactions.”
Attorney General Pam Bondi is to serve as Chair to the Task Force Eradicating Anti-Christian Bias. The Task Force will also consist of members from most executive departments.
The Task Force’s duties will involve reviewing activities of all executive departments and recommending the termination of any policies or conduct identified as Anti-Christian propaganda. The Task Force will also be examining for any “deficiencies in existing laws” that are considered to be anti-Christian in order to terminate them and prevent further Christian discrimination.
