Director, author and professor, Tim Z Hernandez, spent 15 years researching a plane crash in 1948 that was sending home deportees. After connecting with the victims past relatives, it’s now Hernandez’s mission to spread awareness of deportations, not just in the Hispanic community but around the world through his book and now his film.
