Diego Cruz-Castruita is a freshman majoring in Multimedia Journalism and Digital Media Production. He is a contributor at The Prospector. He’s nationally recognized by the National Scholastic Press Association and Columbia Scholastic Press Association. He works as a Digital Media Intern at UTEP’s Institutional Advancement.
According to data collected through a study led by UTEP Ph.D. student, Precious Mathis, Hispanic college students used social media an average of 20 hours a week in 2021.
