UTEP women's basketball extended its losing streak to eight games after falling 68-56 to Kennesaw State at the Don Haskins Center. Despite holding a halftime lead, the Miners struggled in the third quarter, allowing the Owls to pull away and secure the victory.

UTEP men’s basketball extinguishes the Liberty University Flames in a thrilling close game

After a heated battle, UTEP reigned victorious over the Liberty Flames 72-70. After nine ties and 12 lead changes, the Miners came out victorious in the last 2.9 seconds of the game and gave UTEP its first CUSA road game win in a decade.
