Singer and rapper Post Malone’s May 13 show at Sun Bowl Stadium has been canceled, according to Ticketmaster.
Post Malone was scheduled to perform alongside country singer Jelly Roll.
In a message shared on Instagram, Post Malone said he is pushing his tour back three weeks to allow more time to finish new music.
“Truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts,” Post Malone said.
He also acknowledged the canceled shows.
“That being said, I’m so sorry to the folks who were planning on coming to the few canceled shows. I was looking forward to going nuts with y’all,” Post Malone said.
According to Ticketmaster, refunds will be issued to the original method of payment once funds are received from the event organizer and should appear within 14 to 21 days. If tickets were transferred, refunds will go to the original purchaser.
Post Malone did not provide an explanation for why some shows, including the El Paso date, were canceled rather than postponed.
