FlixBus US is a nationwide network opening one of the most extensive bus lines in the US from El Paso-Los Angeles.

The holidays are just around the corner, and many of us will be travelling to visit our relatives outside of El Paso by car, plane, or bus.

FlixBus US is a nationwide network opening one of the most extensive bus lines in the US from El Paso-Los Angeles. This route will include roundtrip service available seven days a week, unbeatable prices, comfortable seats, and free Wi-Fi.

The new route from El Paso-Los Angeles has been available since Nov.5, and El Pasoans can start buying their tickets now.

The majority of El Pasoans are entirely unaware of this company, as is the case of Maria Lopez, a Sun Metro bus rider.

“I did not know that there was a company like FlixBus, but it seems like a great idea that they have included a direct route from El Paso-Los Angeles,” said Lopez. “I have family in Los Angeles, and in the future, I will plan to travel by bus since I do not like to travel by plane.”

Alexis Santos, a UTEP student majoring in digital media production, gives his opinion on the new route.

“I did not know about this new route, but I think it will benefit tourism in El Paso and the commercial connections between the two cities,” said Santos “It will also be faster to move from one place to another.”

So far, FlixBus offers trips from El Paso to Las Cruces, New Mexico, Lordsburg, New Mexico, Deming, New Mexico, Tucson, Arizona, Phoenix, Arizona, Ehrenberg, Arizona, Riverside, California, Ontario, California, and Los Angeles, California.

“FlixBus first launched in Germany in 2013. After a few years of rapid growth in Europe, FlixBus expanded to the U.S. in 2018,” said Jeffrey Lane, Head of Business Development FlixBus, Inc. “Like people all over the world, people in the U.S. are ready for affordable, convenient, and sustainable travel options.”

With the reopening of the international bridges, El Paso will have many visitors. This will have a tremendous economic impact on the FlixBus company with the arrival of the holidays.

“El Paso is a natural addition to the existing FlixBus network in the Southwest. It’s a vibrant city with a great mix of locals, tourists, long-distance travelers, and students,” Lane said. “We made it a priority to connect El Paso to popular FlixBus destinations including Los Angeles, Riverside, Phoenix, and Tucson.”

The new location and affordable prices are already available on the FlixBus website.

“FlixBus has moved into a bus terminal at 214 W. Paisano Dr. in Downtown El Paso, just south of UTEP. Tickets start at $29.99 to Tucson, $34.99 to Phoenix, and $64.99 to Los Angeles.” Said Lane. “The best deals are usually available by booking in advance at FlixBus.com or by downloading our app.”

Lane invites everyone to take advantage of FlixBus’s services during this holiday season.

“With the holidays fast approaching and international travel reopening to vaccinated travelers, and affordable way to visit friends and family and explore the world again,” Lane said.
