UTEP’s Interdisciplinary Research Building will serve as the university’s vaccine program site starting week of Jan.18, as it is prepared to vaccinate 480 people a day.

UTEP is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to all its students and staff April 9-10, the school announced Tuesday, April 6.

According to an email by the Office of the Chief of Staff, UTEP students, faculty and staff who have completed the consent and questionnaire required by the university’s vaccination program, will receive an email Tuesday afternoon with a link to complete the CDC questionnaire and schedule an appointment online.

Students, faculty and staff who have not previously completed the vaccination consent and questionnaire can do so at vaccinequestionnaire.utep.edu by 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 7. These individuals will receive an email Wednesday afternoon to complete the CDC questionnaire and schedule an appointment.

According to the email, if UTEP does not have enough vaccines to meet the demand this week, those registered will still receive an email in the coming weeks as vaccines become available.

Those who have already received a vaccine at a different location can email [email protected] to give their appointment to someone else.

More information regarding UTEP’s vaccination program can be found at utep.edu/vaccine.
