Staff reporter Margaret Cataldi caught up with local drag queen “Lenox to discuss everything from inspiration to life outside of drag. Lenox also recently performed at Touch Bar and Nightclub, an El Paso gay bar 

UTEP psychology student Sal Vargas is the mind behind Lenox, an increasingly popular drag queen within the El Paso scene. Since first stepping into drag in early 2018, Lenox has garnered multiple achievements. She won a prestigious drag queen award last December with a cutting-edge performance that bested nearly 15 other contestants. Today, Lenox continues to captivate audiences most weekend nights at Touch in east El Paso.

Margaret Cataldi is a junior at the University of Texas at El Paso majoring in Multimedia Journalism and minoring in Philosophy.
