Nature Photography 

9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 

Hueco Tanks State Park & Historic Site – Texas Parks and Wildlife 

Ranger photographers, Pete and Carlos will be providing photographers with a tour through some of the most scenic areas of Hueco Tanks. Camera gear, water, snacks and appropriate apparel is encouraged. Reservations are required by calling (915) 857-1135. $9 fee per person for 13 and over and $2 for children 2-11.  

 

Osaple Streetcar Bar Hop! 

2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 

207 Cincinnati Ave 

Osaple will be hosting a streetcar bar hop beginning and ending in the Cincinnati area, starting at Ditzy Duck. Although there are no fees, the streetcar will be taking donations for the shooting victims memorial and each venue will be donating a portion of their profits. The bar hop will include a stop at the Pizza Joint, raffle prizes and drink specials! 

 

Emo Night pt3 (All Ages) 

8 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28

Rockhouse Bar & Grill 9828 Montana Ave  

As the first ALL AGES venue, Emo Night is back for part 3, showcasing local bands which will be performing a setlist of covers. The Rockhouse Bar & Grill will be featuring My Last Season as Underoath, Beneath the Waves as Sleeping with Sirens, Eye of the Bermuda as Of Mice & Men and Rose as Pierce the Veil. Drink specials will be available for 21+. There will be $5 fee and emo attire are encouraged. 

 

El Paso Fall Carnival 

Oct. 3 – 6 

Sunland Park Mall 750 Sunland Park Dr. 

Frazier Shows is coming back this Fall to bring you the El Paso carnival at Sunland Mall Park. There will be online sales at a discounted rate if bought before October 2nd to receive an unlimited ride armband for only $13 each. The carnival will run for only three days from October 3rd to October 6th 

 

The Great Inflatable Race El Paso 

9 a.m. -12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5

Eastwood Park 3001 Parkwood St.  

The Great Inflatable Race is an all ages event with giant inflatable obstacles spread throughout the course that will bump and slide you all over the place. It is a family friendly event that encourages the community to come together in order to pursue positive social change within the community.  

 

Bad Suns at The Lowbrow Palace 

9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 

The Lowbrow Palace 111 E Robinson Ave. 

American Alternative Rock band, Bad Suns, will be performing at the Lowbrow Palace along with Lily & Ultra Q, Wednesday, October 9. It will be an all ages event and tickets will be $22/25 and are available online or at the door.  

 

The Architecture of Drawing 

6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10

El Paso Museum of Art 

Architect, painter and professor, C, Errol Baroon from the Tulane School of Architecture will be visiting the El Paso Museum of Art, will be discussing his interdisciplinary approach to architecture with drawing and painting during a lecture at the museum, as well as presenting research from his forthcoming book, The Architecture of Drawing.  

 

Chalk the Block  

6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Oct. 11

400 W San Antonio Ave.  

The Museums and Cultural Affairs Department will be hosting the 2019 Chalk the Block, which will showcase art work from local artists and students that will be competing under three categories, Student Artists, Emerging Artists and Showcasing Artists. Chalk the Block is a free family friendly, three-day festival that will take place in downtown El Paso.
