UTEP’s College of Engineering hosted the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) district event at Memorial Gym on campus, Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3.
Students from 27 high schools from throughout Texas and New Mexico, from ninth-12th grades participated at the event.
The FRC district event is part of the annual For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology (FIRST) family of robotics competitions.
Around 300 students from El Paso and the surrounding region participated in the event.
