Khalid performs on the second day of Neon Desert Music Festival 2017 on Sunday, May 28.

El Paso’s own R&B sensation Khalid, sold-out tickets to his recently announced “915: Hometown Show” within minutes of going on sale.

The last time Khalid performed in El Paso was during Neon Desert Music Festival in May 2017, where thousands of fans waited at the stage early to catch a glimpse of the rising star.

The “American Teen” singer will return to El Paso on Friday, Sept. 14, at the Don Haskins Center. A second show was added two hours later, which also quickly sold out. That show will be on Saturday, Sept. 15.

He recently caught attention on Instagram when he visited the city last week and was spotted driving around in a white Rolls Royce. He was also seen hanging out with El Paso’s own NFL star Aaron Jones, and even made appearance at the Born TX Raised One Year Anniversary party over the weekend.
