Annual heel walk raises $82,000 for local YWCA

Hundreds of men participated in the annual “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes” fundraising event on Thursday, October 19 at San Jacinto Plaza. The funds will support local YWCA programs and services for survivors of domestic violence and family assault. The YWCA was able to raise more than $82,000, which will be used to help raise awareness about family violence and sexual assault.
