All 10 fraternity and sorority chapters at UTEP will be hosting Greek Spirit Week starting Tuesday Sept. 5 to promote fraternity and sorority life.

Potential members are invited to attend the events that will be held throughout the week to learn more about the recruitment process, the perks and benefits of being in a fraternity or sorority and what “going Greek” is really all about.
The fraternity and sorority chapters will be tabling at Leech Grove for the Greek Recruitment Fair Tuesday Sept. 5 through Thursday Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All are invited to attend Greek Discovery Day Tuesday Sept. 5 on the third floor of the Union East building. There will be food, games, and prizes available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Panhellenic groups will be hosting their formal recruitment throughout the week beginning with orientation on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Physical Science building room 115. Recruitment sessions will be held Wednesday Sept. 6 through Friday Sept. 8 from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. in the Liberal Arts building room 107 followed by Bid Day on Saturday Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Multipurpose Field.

The following week the Multicultural Greek, Interfraternity, and National Pan-Hellenic Councils will host an open house to give and information on their chapters from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 13 in the Union East building.
