Ice cream tacos will be featured at Ice Cream fest.

Back and bigger than before, the Ice Cream Festival returns for the second year at Cohen Stadium on “Sundae,” July 2, with more sweets. Last year’s festival saw over 12,000 attendees and this year, the festival expects more guests and will have 75 flavors of ice cream with 50,000 samples available.

Ice cream won’t be the only thing available at the festival. Live music, art and entertainment will also be taking place at the festival.

Independent Burger and Crave will provide food for the festival, there will be lemonade stands, Craze yogurt lounge, kid cone zone inflatables, a 21-and-over lounge for guests to enjoy drinks and games provided by Dave and Busters, and Southwest University and Big Media will have photo booths for attendees to commemorate the event. There will also be complimentary water refill stations throughout the stadium.

The festival begins at 4 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m. with the “Red, White and Boom” fireworks display. General admission tickets are $12, $10 for military and kids 12 and under enter free. Parking is free this year.
