Dinosaurs will stomp their way to the El Paso County Coliseum this weekend with T-Rex Planet. The Jurassic Tour will run June 24 and 25 featuring life-size animatronic dinosaurs that will make you feel like you stepped into a “Jurassic Park” film.

The indoor event is designed to appeal to people of all ages. Its goal is not only to bring families together but to simulate what it was like during the Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods.

“Tracey” the T-Rex will greet and take pictures with attendees throughout the weekend. Children and their families will also have the chance to learn, ride and catch a glimpse of over 40 different life-size dinosaurs.

A fossil dig for kids to explore their inner paleontologist, face painting, games, a theater, a dinosaur band and inflatable Dino Bounce Houses will also be a part of the event.

Tickets are still available online at trexplanet.com or at the door.
