Less than a week after the departure of Terry Winn, there is yet another member of the UTEP men’s basketball team who has departed. During the press conference following the loss to Northwestern State 79-67, head coach of the Miners Tim Floyd revealed that freshman guard Adrian Moore left the team.

“Adrian Moore is no longer with our team.” Floyd said. “There was no minutes for him on this team, and he wanted some playing time. And his mother was recently diagnosed with a with a serious, serious illness and they talked after the Southeast Louisiana game and Adrian came to me and said ‘coach I’m so far away from home I feel like I need to be closer to my mother and what’s going.”

Moore was added to the squad after Lee Moore decided to go pro. He only appeared in one game for the Miners this season.
