International Culture Week at UTEP continued Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Union with a fashion show entitled The Beauty of Africa. The show was created in collaboration with UTEP’s Black Student Union and the African Student Union. The students walked in outfits inspired by different time periods using actors and singers as references for their looks. The show also included traditional outfits with a modern twist that can be seen today in different parts of Africa. Members of the African Student Union then performed a dance routine which included traditional moves and modern day ones.
