Senior sociology major Mariah Ramirez organized a peaceful protest against the result of the presidential election on Nov. 10 at Centennial Plaza. Participants took a knee for a few minutes in silence then they talked peacefully about their concerns. Some wore all black to the protest to mourn that Trump is now the president-elect.
