El Paso Coyotes prepare for home opener

Angel Ulloa

What was once a distant idea is now a reality because on Friday, Nov. 4, the inaugural season of the El Paso Coyotes will embark on their first home game in club history. This is the first time El Paso will witness a Major Arena Soccer League matchup, and the Coyotes will play host to the Dallas Sidekicks at 7:30 p.m. in the El Paso County Coliseum.

The game will feature different pregame antics, such as “The Voice” contestant Elia Esparza singing the national anthem, live music, dancers and food vendors.

The Coyotes are coming off a 10-2 loss to Dallas on Oct. 29, so El Paso is looking for revenge and their first win as a program.
