Queernival, an event that supports the LBGTQ community, took place on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the UTEP Union. The event included performances from local drag queens and Odd Lab performers. In addition, free food was served at the event, while multiple student organizations had booths with information about STD prevention. Students participated in a hula hoop contest where they were given candy, and the last student standing won a prize.
