UTEP’s homecoming week started early Sunday morning Oct. 23 with the 7th annual miner dash 5k run/3k walk, followed by the family fitness fiesta at Centennial Plaza. Participants were able to take on the fitness challenges which included push-ups, sit-ups, holla hooping, Zumba, yoga, and pull ups after the marathon.
