The Office of Student Life and the Student Government Association teamed up to open the “Dear World: Miners Inside Out” exhibition earlier today. The gallery, following a brief storytelling session from a few Dear World participants, featured images of the 300 people photographed to tell their stories that were written on their bodies. The gallery opening and reception, taking place on the second floor of the Union Building East, was unveiled today and will remain open until April 8. The exhibition is open to all UTEP students and guests who wish to see the photos of these 300 individuals brave enough to share their stories.
