UTEP’s king and queen riding through the parade

UTEP students, alumni, faculty and staff and members of the community came together to celebrate this year’s Texas themed homecoming parade.

The parade ran from the corner of University Avenue and Oregon Street down to Kidd Field. The parade featured UTEP student organizations as well as alumni and Golden Grads.

Following the parade, students and family joined together at the pep rally held at Kidd Field where the Miner Pride Band, cheerleaders, Allegro Dance Team, and Golddiggers performed. The homecoming court was introduced, Greek Olympic finalists announced, and the best floats from the parade were recognized.
