President Diana Natalicio speaks at the homecoming pep rally.

This year’s centennial themed homecoming parade took place on Saturday Oct. 11. The parade ran from the corner of University Avenue and Oregon Street down to the Glory Road practice field. The parade included UTEP student organizations as well as alumni and Golden Grads. Following the parade, a pep rally was held at Glory field where the Miner Pride Band, cheerleaders and Golddiggers performed. The homecoming court was introduced, and the best floats from the parade were recognized.
