Bhutanese dancers to perform with UTEP students and faculty

UTEP students and faculty will join Bhutanese dancers and musicians for special performances throughout the week.

The event will present a combination of Bhutanese music and dance with Western cultural elements. The program made its world premiere in Thimphu, Bhutan on Oct. 12, 2013.

The performance is recommended for all ages. No tickets are required. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Tuesday, August 26
7-10 p.m. Rehearsal at the Don Haskins Center.

Wednesday, August 27
5 p.m. Bhutanese performance at the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall for local dance groups.

Thursday, August 28

9 a.m.  Bhutanese performance at Hornedo Middle School.

7-10 p.m. Dress rehearsal at the Don Haskins Center.

Saturday, August 30

6 p.m Performance at Don Haskins Center, doors open at 5 p.m.
