UTEP to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The University of Texas at El Paso will team up with the Drug Enforcement Administration to participate in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Oct. 26 at the UTEP Police Department, 3118 Sun Bowl Drive at 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The purpose of the national effort is to provide a venue for people who want to dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs.

The public is encouraged to turn in unused or expired medication, including over the counter medication, for safe disposal.
