Campus IT systems across campus experienced an outage, presumably due to the rainstorm, at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Thursday.
A member of the UTEP Help Desk indicated that the campus IT team was working to fix the problem. Telephones are expected to become functional by 2:15 p.m. The campus Wi-Fi system and external UTEP website is expected to take longer to repair.
Included in the outage are UTEP email accounts, utep.edu and the my.utep portal.
