The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) nearly erased a 24-point deficit in an anticipated Sun Bowl comeback, but late turnovers doomed the Miners in a 31-25 loss to the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM). Sophomore QB Malachi Nelson earned his career high of 404 passing yards.
