Season 13, Episode 2: Picking Up on Books and Boba!

With the fall semester back in full swing, it’s important that as college students we have some pick me ups to get us through our assignments and textbooks.

So how about a little reading for enjoyment paired with some fun drinks? Well, that combination is exactly what’s highlighted on episode two, season 13 of The Prospector Podcast!

Author of the novel “Early this Morning,” Darrell Barry, flew all the way from San Antonio to discuss his book over the U.S. military’s former “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” policy.

After that, Fuba Tea co-owner Justin Chang joins the podcast and shares the company’s history and drinks!

Sebastian Perez-Navarro is a sophomore majoring in communication studies. He Hosts UTEP’s student led Prospector Podcast, is a Play-By-Play broadcaster who has transmitted for ESPN+/Minervision in Softball and has called Football and Basketball games for 600 ESPN El Paso. Sebastian is a proud member of the UTEP Speech and Debate Team. There, he competes in extemporaneous, impromptu, platform and argumentative settings. He is currently serving as Vice President for the University’s National Association of Hispanic Journalists Chapter.
