Summer Spin-off, Episode 3: Picking Up on Patrick Star and summer blockbusters!

To conclude The Prospector’s venture into summer podcasting, the whole staff really had to use their “imagination,” to create what is possibly one of the most creative, and funniest podcast episodes made by UTEP Student Media and Publications.

We learn about coffee passports with our Audience and Engagement editor and run down summer blockbuster season by learning what movies are worth the watch! Finally, we talk to a true star, Patrick Star, over how Spongebob The Musical is bringing its underwater magic to UTEP!

Sebastian Perez-Navarro is a sophomore majoring in communication studies. He Hosts UTEP’s student led Prospector Podcast, is a Play-By-Play broadcaster who has transmitted for ESPN+/Minervision in Softball and has called Football and Basketball games for 600 ESPN El Paso. Sebastian is a proud member of the UTEP Speech and Debate Team. There, he competes in extemporaneous, impromptu, platform and argumentative settings. He is currently serving as Vice President for the University’s National Association of Hispanic Journalists Chapter.
