Daniel Szwaczkowski, preparator of the Rubin Center, began the setting of the gallery on Wednesday, April 25.

Szwaczkowski’s attention to detail has helped him run the Rubin’s Center preparatory for over 13 years. He is an artist himself who has a degree in metalsmithing and jewelry—focusing on making what he loves, wedding bands.

International artist, Betsabee Romero, along with designer and illustrator Craig Frazier came to campus to judge the student’s art for the 2018 Annual UTEP Juried Student Art Exhibition.

Opening reception for the exhibit will be on Friday, May 4. The show will run through Friday, August 10.
