Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican celebration that has been celebrated for many years. It is such a famous celebration that some people from United States started celebrating it too. On this day, people celebrate the death of their relatives as something beautiful and celebratory. It is a day for remembering their loved ones that passed away and create a bond with them.
On Saturday, Oct. 29, El Paso’s Concordia Cemetery celebrated Dia de Muertos. With a mix of a cultural and spiritual vibe, families where able to celebrate and to get involved with this tradition. There were over 40 vendors selling Mexican cuisine, artisanal crafts and other items of interest. With live music and Mexican dances the whole day was full with activities.
