The opening reception for “It Came From Beyond the Border”, a sculpture exhibition by Angel Cabrales was hosted at the Purple Gallery on Thursday Oct. 27. Cabrales, a sculpture professor at UTEP, said that his art work is a satire that is inspired on the political rhetoric about a possible “illegal alien invasion.” The exhibit will be up for a month.
