Tricky Falls hosts close to 30 local bands for fifth-aniversary celebration

Local band Gila Monster performs the first night of the Tricky Falls’ fifth-aiversary concert series. he band is one of the many who have played the Tricky stage both as nobodies and as established bands in El Paso.

PHOTOS: Close to 30 local bands played for a crowd eager to hear what El Paso’s music scene has grown into since Tricky Falls’ opening. Local artists performed to celebrate the venue hosting a wide range of bands and artists for five years now.

Michaela Roman, Editor-in-Chief
Michaela is a Senior Digital Media Production major at The University of Texas at El Paso. As the Editor-in-Chief, and former Photo Editor of The Prospector, she has learned to stay organized, manage a staff of writers and photographers, meet deadlines, cover events and network with others. She also has freelance experience and a personal photography business. Michaela aspires to work as an editor for a large media outlet and one day go to graduate school to teach photojournalism.
Adrian Broaddus, Sports Editor
Adrian Broaddus is the sports editor for The Prospector. He is a junior multimedia journalism major with a minor in political science.   Adrian was born and raised in El Paso, TX, and is a graduate of Franklin high school. He entered college in the fall of 2015 in hopes to better his career in journalism.   Along with sports, Adrian enjoys writing music reviews, perspective columns and news stories on politics.   Although he is pursuing his degree in journalism, Adrian would like to go to law school and be an attorney while doing part-time work in journalism.
